The engineers required a highly thermally insulated material to sperate spaces on the plenum floor where air and heat flow are critical properties for the data components.  AAC has the highest R-Value compared with any other walling material which assists with climate control naturally without the requirement for additional heating and cooling for optimal results. The AAC thermal advantage allows for reduced energy costs, whether residential or commercial structures.
